Terms of Use
Last updated 17 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Timewent. They sit alongside Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which covers your licence to the app. These terms add what is specific to Timewent.
What it is
Timewent is a personal log for your own day, the things you save and your own notes. It is not medical advice, and it does not diagnose or treat ADHD or anything else. For diagnosis or treatment, talk to a doctor.
Plans and payment
Timewent is paid for. The plans are $29.99 a year (starts with a 7-day free trial), or $49.99 once. Prices are in US dollars. In other countries they can be different, and the App Store shows your price before you pay.
“Have a look around” shows the whole app with made-up sample days before you pay, without signing in. A plan is what lets you keep your own days.
Apple takes the payment, through the Apple Account on your device. We never see your card.
The yearly plan renews by itself until you cancel. Apple charges the renewal within the 24 hours before each year ends. To stop it, cancel at least 24 hours before that, in Settings on your iPhone → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling leaves the plan running until the end of the year you paid for.
The free week is Apple’s introductory offer on the yearly plan. Apple decides who is eligible, and it is offered once per Apple Account. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends and you are not charged.
The one-time purchase is one payment, not a subscription. It does not renew, and there is nothing to cancel. If you buy it during a free week, cancel the yearly plan too, or Apple will charge it when the free week ends.
Prices can change. For the yearly plan, Apple tells you before a new price applies and asks you to agree where the law requires it. A change never applies to a year you have already paid for.
Refunds are Apple’s to give, not ours, because Apple sells the app. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your rights under the law where you live still stand.
Purchases are not shared through Family Sharing. If a plan or a free week ends, your entries are not deleted: you can still open and export them, and a plan lets you add to them again.
Your entries
What you write, photograph and record stays yours. It is kept on your devices and in your own iCloud, not on any server of ours, so we cannot see it, back it up or restore it for you. Keep iCloud on, and export a copy now and then.
Fair use
Don’t use Timewent to break the law, or to keep things you have no right to keep.
Changes to the app
Timewent is provided as it is, and its features may change. Your entries stay in your own iCloud whatever happens to the app, and Export everything gives you a copy you can keep.
Ending
You can stop using Timewent at any time. Delete account erases your entries from every device. It does not cancel a plan; cancel that in Settings.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on what you log. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the protections of the country you live in.
